Eberhard Streul kellékes-revüje nyomán Parti Nagy Lajos írt magyar darabot egy színházi kellékes nagy pillanatából, színházi estéjéből.
Bieder József előadás után teszi a dolgát, pakol az üres színpadon, s fölnézve közönséggel, méghozzá telt házzal találja magát szembe.
Először megriad, nem tudja, hogy oldja meg ezt a szokatlan, már-már szürreális helyzetet, végül megdicsőül.
E hajdani segédszínész, ez az örök háttérember mesélni kezd az életéről, ami a színház, s a színházról, ami az élete. Tán nem az első, de alighanem utolsó „fellépésén" minden képességét, tapasztalatát és képzeletét mozgósítva elvarázsolja, elszórakoztatja mindazokat, akiket a nézőtéren lát. Az összes magánszám, az összes produkció természetesen róla szól, róla a sírás, a nevetés, róla szól az egész este, Kern András előadásában, Ilan Eldad -- a Hat hét hat tánc és Az élet, mint olyan színpadra állítója -- rendezésében.

“The sky does not begin with the stars, but at the tips of blades of grass.” On this special evening dedicated to his own compositions, Károly Binder revisits the most important stations of his creative career together with outstanding musicians with whom – as the quote from Mór Jókai suggests – he started out from the tips of blades of grass.
The release of the volume A bilincs a szabadság legyen (‘Let the Shackles Be the Freedom’), a collection of the correspondence between Miklós Mészöly and Alaine Polcz, generated a significant level of interest in the writers’ private lives and literary work that, it is no exaggeration to say, continues to this day. Apart from the strong emotional bonds shared by several literary couples we could mention, it is perhaps the letters of these two authors that reveals the most thought-provoking ideas.
