És aztán kiderül, de, igen vannak, egyesével érkeznek a gyerekszobába, hogy a birodalmukat felfaló Zsák ellen segítséget kérjenek, de félni tőlük tényleg nem kell.
A mumus a gyermekirodalom azon vonulatába tartozik, mely arra hivatott, hogy az egyébként általunk kieszelt riogatások (Elvisz a markoláb, a szenesember, a mumus!) hatására a gyermekeinkben kialakult félelmeket sok humorral, kedvességgel eloszlassa.
