1986 nyarán egy mesesorozaton és Zorán új albumán kezdett dolgozni Presser Gábor és Sztevanovity Dusán, egy ötlet azonban új irányba terelte őket, ennek köszönhető a hatalmas sikerű musical megszületése. 1994-ben már bemutattuk ezt az örökzöld musicalt, melyet most újra láthatnak bérletes nézőink a Kisfaludy teremben, illetve bérletszünetes előadásokon a Nagyszínházban.

Eternally youthful even at 80, Géza Bereményi is one of the most colourful personalities on Hungary’s contemporary literary and cultural scene. A first-rate novelist and the director of now-classic films, Bereményi has also, and not least of all, proved to be a unique songwriter and lyricist with an unlimited font of inspiration and a personal stage presence that is an experience in itself.
Although the concept behind the productions has always been a mature one, over the years the Ring has been rejuvenated within the framework of a constant idea and reborn in the details. Another permanent feature is the conducting method - one combining humanism with perfectionism - of music director Ádám Fischer.
Recirquel’s new production, Paradisum explores the myth of rebirth following the silence of a destroyed world, where the means of communication is the body, and the only common language is movement. The creatures of this idyllic existence unfold from the ever-changing, swirling natural forces of the ‘fabric of life’ that pulsates around them, so they can reach the anima mundi, the world soul, through scenes of purification, birth, awakening and ritual.
