2004 nyarán a Kossuth-díjas írónő Álarcosbál regényéből Somogyi Szilárd igazi musicalcsemegét készített. Magda néni természetesen látta ezt az előadást, és nagyon boldog volt, hogy a musical műfajában is megjelenik. Igazán ez "törte meg a jeget", hiszen sokan sokszor kérték tőle az Abigél című regényt is, hogy musicalt írjanak belőle. Az Álarcosbál sikere után az ifjú rendező kapta meg tőle ezt a lehetőséget, s írta meg az Abigél című musical szövegkönyvét. Társa lett a munkában Kocsák Tibor zeneszerző és Miklós Tibor dalszövegíró, akik már korábban, a Rock Színház idején vittek sikerre zenés műként olyan irodalmi remekeket, mint a Légy jó mindhalálig vagy az Anna Karenina.
Recirquel’s new production, Paradisum explores the myth of rebirth following the silence of a destroyed world, where the means of communication is the body, and the only common language is movement. The creatures of this idyllic existence unfold from the ever-changing, swirling natural forces of the ‘fabric of life’ that pulsates around them, so they can reach the anima mundi, the world soul, through scenes of purification, birth, awakening and ritual.
The highly prolific and versatile Greek singer, Savina Yannatou has been considered among her country’s most significant performers since the early 1980s. She began her career performing progressive electronic music (releasing several albums with Lena Platonos), and has since explored a vast range of musical worlds, from medieval songs to improvisatory genres. The internationally acclaimed artist is already familiar to the Müpa Budapest audience, having performed previously on the Festival Theatre stage back in 2006.
