Erről a kontinensről viszonylag keveset tudunk, pedig innét származunk mi, az egész
emberiség, ahányan csak vagyunk: innét költöztünk át kényelmes crô-magnoni,
neandervölgyi, és vértesszőlősi lakóbarlangjainkba. Hogy mit hoztunk onnan magunkkal? Például a zenét – de hiába hoztuk magunkkal, ott is maradt belőle, talán több is, mint amennyi nekünk, sápatag európaiaknak jutott. Csak a hangszereket hagytuk ott, hogy legyen miért kitalálni a mieinket – mert zene nélkül ideát sem bírtuk sokáig.
Urmai Gábor, Vertig Tímea és Deák Tamás most élőben szólaltatja meg ezek a hangszereket, eredeti afrikai zenét játszanak rajta, hogy örüljünk – és, ha legközelebb kontinenst kényszerülünk váltani, ahányan csak vagyunk, hát figyeljünk jobban a csomagolásnál, nehogy pont a legfontosabbat felejtsük ott: a hangszereket és a zenét...

At every stage in his career, Nikolas Takács has consistently delivered an exciting combination of unique musical inspiration and independent artistic exploration. Born into a musical family in Galanta (now Slovakia) in 1986, he won his first talent contest at the age of ten. This was followed by formal music training and a long succession of solo concerts. His style, which fearlessly blends jazz, soul and pop, firmly positions him as one of the most multifaceted performers in Hungarian popular music today.
Known for her sensitive interpretation of roles, the Finnish soprano Camilla Nylund will once again demonstrate in this evening of lieder what an outstanding performer of the German repertoire she is.
Many people were surprised when, after a successful two-year streak during which they won the A38 talent competition known as Talentométer and conquered stages across Europe, including Müpa Budapest, makrohang split up. They then caused another, more pleasant surprise with the news in 2023 that they would be reviving what they themselves call their “jazz for metalheads” sound.
