The very valid parable about the insignificant-seeming petty criminal, who evolves into a cunning and unstoppable monster of a politician in front of our very eyes, has been staged by one of Hungary’s most unorthodox directors, who cast this Machiavellian character as a woman.
A supergroup assembled to mark the centenary of the birth of John Coltrane, the legendary saxophonist and creator of spiritual jazz. In the words of its most senior member, saxophonist Joe Lovano, the group pays tribute to Coltrane’s compositions, while discovering and expressing themselves in his spirit.
