A hihetetlenül szellemes komédia szerint a magyar történelem összes tragikus eseménye elsősorban azért következett be, mert elődeink nem beszéltek idegen nyelveket. A darabban a Hunyadi Háziipari Szövetkezet két dolgozója, egy maguk által összeállított kultúrműsorral igyekszik megértetni a többi dolgozóval (és a nézőkkel), hogy mennyire fontos a nyelvtudás. Leginkább a tajvani nyelv ismerete, ugyanis az üzemet felvásárolták a tajvaniak.
