A mesében a szörnyekkel és embert próbáló akadályokkal teli út megtétele küzdelmes és sokszor reménytelen, de a fiú mégis sikerrel jár. Hős, aki önmagát meghaladva boldoggá teszi a népét és önmagát. Mit jelent ez a hősiesség itt és ma? Hogyan néz ki ez a történet jelen világunkban? Ki a hős, és mi a feladata? A mese alapján készült kortárs drámai szöveg ezt a kérdést járja körül. Színházi utazás a keresésről, a küzdelemről, a reményről és a boldogságról, élő zenével.
