Játszmák, vegyes párosok, de nem akármilyenek. Olasz férfi amerikai férfival kettőst énekel, olasz férfi amerikai lánnyal... nemcsak énekel..., amerikai lány amerikai lánnyal vetélkedik az olasz sztárért. Na, hogy ebből mi sül ki? Közben meg a Clevelandi Operába várják az Othello címszerepére Tito Morellit, az aranytorkú olasz tenoristát, ám a híres és népszerű sztár kissé illuminált állapotba kerül, ami humoros jelenetek egész sorát vonultatja fel a színpadon. A vegyes párosok cserélődnek, a helyzetkomikumok fokozódnak. Mindez a főváros legnagyobb nevettetőivel... a darab sikere nem lehet kérdéses...

Das Rheingold is the introduction to the storyline, depicting the central conflict. Starting from a primeval state of peace, the opera shows how the original sin was committed, triggering a chain of events that eventually lead to complete annihilation.
It is not exclusively Hungarians that Müpa Budapest honours with the prestigious title of Artist of the Season: foreign musicians, such as the Russian piano virtuoso Denis Matsuev, for instance, have also been distinguished in this way. The prerequisites are obvious: a high level of professional excellence and a fruitful relationship with Müpa Budapest.
The evening promises a memorable encounter with one of the most celebrated groups of works in Bach’s oeuvre, as well as an introduction to the leading ensemble of the Japanese historically informed performance movement.
