Bizet világhírű operájának Scsedrin készítette el balett-szvit változatát. Már az eredeti mű is feszegette az érzéki erotika témájának határait, a feltartóztathatatlan cigánylány varázslatos hatásával, ám Scsedrin változatát a '60-as években egyenesen betiltották, túlfűtött erotikája miatt. Carmen a független női lélek megtestesítője, a célra tartó íjász.
A Kecskemét City Balett Barta Dóra Harangozó Gyula-díjas, érdemes művész koreográfiájában most elkészíti saját változatát, a démoni nő, a famme fatale alaptípusáról, megtartva az opera eredeti főszereplőit és konfliktusait.

Meeting on stage at this instalment of Müpa Budapest’s Literarium series will be two guests of different generations and their different, yet subtly intertwined, creative universes: award-winning writer Zsolt Láng and his daughter – writer, poet and graphic artist Orsolya Láng.
Hiperkarma frontman Róbert Bérczesi exploded onto the Hungarian alternative scene in the early ’00s, when his unique and sincere lyrics quickly made him a cult figure in the country’s music world. Although the group has disbanded and reformed more than once over the years, it has always retained its unique, lyrical and raw sound, one in which personal struggles and inner journeys play a central role.
