Egy civilizáció romjain tengődő, életben maradásáért küzdő, barbár közösség rituálékkal teli életébe pillantunk be, akik félelmeikkel harcolva, ösztöneik által vezérelve próbálják átvészelni, amit a Sors rájuk ró. A Sors, ami néha jót, örömöt, szerelmet, máskor bánatot, halált hoz számukra. Egy lány, kinek eleve rövid élet adatott, egy pillanatra boldognak érezheti magát, a szerelem minden rosszat elfeledtető érzése elhiteti vele, hogy az élet más, szebb is lehet. De Fortuna csalfa és kegyetlen, nem törődik a pillanat szépségével. A csalódások, örömök, félelmek megélésével mindannyian egyre többet tudnak meg önmagukról, sorsukról, lehetőségeikről – emberi mivoltukról.

The evening promises a memorable encounter with one of the most celebrated groups of works in Bach’s oeuvre, as well as an introduction to the leading ensemble of the Japanese historically informed performance movement.
At every stage in his career, Nikolas Takács has consistently delivered an exciting combination of unique musical inspiration and independent artistic exploration. Born into a musical family in Galanta (now Slovakia) in 1986, he won his first talent contest at the age of ten. This was followed by formal music training and a long succession of solo concerts. His style, which fearlessly blends jazz, soul and pop, firmly positions him as one of the most multifaceted performers in Hungarian popular music today.
The MET’s contemporary highlight of the 2025-2026 season centres on, arguably, art history’s most famous painter couple, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.
