„A budapesti dalszínház kötelessége elvinni az operaművészetet azokhoz, akiknek nincs elérhető közelségben a főváros, hiszen az ő adóforintjaik is finanszírozzák ezt a műfajt. Elvinni, és átnyújtani, mint egy ajándékot, miként ezt Szendrényi Éva tervei alapján készült díszlet is szimbolizálja. Egy hatalmas doboz, amelybe az Opera bepakolja a produkciót, és viszi városról városra. A jelmeztervező, a divat világából érkezett Németh Anikó elkötelezett híve az innovációnak, kísérletezésnek. A Don Pasquale előadáshoz tervezett jelmezei nemcsak ruhadarabokkal, de parádés humorral is felöltöztetik az opera figuráit. A 2013/2014-es évadban Káel Csaba Don Pasquale-rendezése gördül ki Budapestről.”
