Cziczó Attila drámája a férfikor küszöbén átzuhanó, a lebácsizás ellen lázadó ember története, aki a halál és/vagy öregség közelgő rettenetétől megbokrosodva próbálja helyre tenni életét. Nehéz eldönteni, hogy a néző sírjon vagy nevessen a hatvanon túli férfiember megpróbáltatásain, amihez a „csupanő” családja asszisztál: ki kedvesen, ki utálatosan, de mindenképp az ellenkező nemre, s nem az igenre helyezve a hangsúlyt.
A főhős szerepében Bezerédi Zoltán brillíroz: szerethető, esendő Döncije egy nagyon is élő és mai tükörképe a férfitársadalomnak. Partnerei - a cinikus feleség (Andai Kati), a meg nem értett nagylány (Szalay Marianna) és az öröklázadó unoka (Bűdi Annamária) - pedig mindent megtesznek azért, hogy igazi sírós-nevetős happy enddel záródjék a meglehetősen életszerű, mégis mesésen csodás színdarab: „Fegyverrel ment Baba, villával, kanállal, harcolni indult, de játszott csak a Halállal.”
