Csak szemet kellene hunynia, a trónt is megkapná előbb-utóbb. Az apját már úgysem támaszthatja fel. Erkölcs, ugyan már! Illékony, talán nem is létező fogalom. Ezért felforgatni a dán királyi udvar életét, lemondani jólétről, kényelemről, szerelemről? Dánia nem börtön, csak ha annak látjuk.
És mégsem nyugszik. Mert a fájdalom elveszi az ember cselekvőképességét, az igazságtalanság tudata pedig megmérgezi az álmait. Nem maradhat megtorlatlanul az, ami az időt kizökkentette.
A hamleti probléma – az igazság és a büntetés viszonya – korunk egyik megkerülhetetlen alapkérdése. Mi a teendő a bűnössel, „ki bűnét bánni képtelen?”

Mozart was insatiably in love with life. He embraced everything considered “sinful”: wine, cards, billiards. And his passion extended to musical ornaments: flowery acciaccaturas, trills, cadences others dared not risk, and chromatic runs. But there can be no doubt the main objects of his desire were women. He dedicated several of his masterpieces to one or other of his lovers, who were thus immortalised by these concert and opera arias.
