Harper elindul egy londoni külvárosból, hogy még egyszer lássa haldokló apját. Egy road movie veszi kezdetét, amelynek állomásain egy negyvenes nő szembesül az életével, a családjával, a vágyaival és ezek széthullásával. Simon Stephens, az egyik legismertebb kortárs brit drámaíró 2007-es darabjában tragikomikus élességgel mutatja meg az elhallgatás és a szembenézés természetrajzát.
