Holle anyónak földön túli hatalma van. Irányítja az emberek életét, a tengerek vándorlásait, dunyhájából hó hull a földre, zenélő csodahárfájára ébred a földön a szerelem. Hanka a kis mostohalány kútba ugrik, hogy eldobja magától szomorú életét, de a halál és az élet között uralkodó Holle anyó megmenti és ad még egy lehetőséget a földi boldogság megtalálására.
Kikkel találkozik odaát? Miről suttognak a halott lelkek fái és a boldog-szomorú kemencék?

Following the great success of their 2023 concert, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra returns to Müpa Budapest under the baton of their new music director, Martin Rajna. The thoughtfully assembled programme vividly demonstrates the manner in which this excellent ensemble is entering a new chapter in its history full of dynamism and optimism.
Balázs Kovalik’s monumental and moving production of the original version of The Flying Dutchman caused a sensation when it was first premiered at Müpa Budapest in 2015 and will be returning in 2027 for the first time since 2018.
What would happen if Sándor Petőfi were to write János Vitéz right here and now, before our very eyes? In this new stage version, the story emerges from a giant laptop, from which the two-dimensional and living characters of the tale come to life to bring the world of Johnny Corncob and Iluska into being through spoken word and song.
