Sohasem könnyű a lét, ha túl sok az eszkimó és kevés a fóka… A balatoni üdülővároska felkapott bárjának énekesi posztjáért is tehetséges (és kevésbé tehetséges) zenészek, énekesek sora vívja tisztességes (avagy kevésbé tisztességes) küzdelmét a szezon beköszönte előtt. A bártulajdonos isteni sugallatra (avagy egy boros éjszaka élénk álmait túlmisztifikálva) azzal az egészen elképesztő ötlettel áll elő, hogy az ő szórakozóhelyén ezen a nyáron ikrek fognak énekelni… Castingot hirdet tehát, s hogy az énekesek ne csupán mint két tojás hasonlítsanak, hanem bensőjük is teljes egymásra hangoltságban legyen, azt is kiköti, hogy a jelentkezők csakis egypetéjű ikrek lehetnek…
A zenészek leleményessége nem ismer határt. De a gazda szeme mindent észrevesz…

Founded in 1999, the Liszt Prize-winning, Debrecen based Talamba has been one of Hungary’s leading percussion ensembles for 27 years - and as the title of their new programme - making its debut at Müpa - suggests, they keep moving forward, and their rhythm continues unabated.
It could be that even we ourselves often don’t fully comprehend how many ways the digital age has changed our relationship with music. Nevertheless, there remain themes that simply demand an analogue, more traditional approach. Active since the ’10s, singer-songwriter Gergő Szakács has transitioned over the years from monumental pop sounds to more intimate, live instrumental productions, and this journey will reach its next important milestone at Müpa Budapest.
