Myllyaho drámája három nőről szól, akiket nemcsak kávézókban, hanem utcákon, iskolában, hajókiránduláson és egy orvosi váróban is látunk, valamint egy rendőrségi fogdában, ahova részegen zárják be őket egy átmulatott éjszaka után. A darab külön érdekessége, hogy valamennyi figuráját a három főszereplő nő alakítja.

Egy 30-asokból álló baráti társaság tagjai – Szofi,általános iskolai tanár; Emma, újságíró, Júlia, pszichiáter – időről-időre kávéházakban találkoznak azért, hogy megosszák egymással életük legfontosabb eseményeit és a bajban támogassák egymást. Amikor a világ gondjai túlzottan rájuk nehezednek, leülnek egy-egy csésze kávé mellé és megpróbálnak rájönni, hogy mi az oka és következménye krízisüknek.
