Csajkovszkij - A diótörő: Ez az a klasszikus, amit évről évre látni és hallgatni kell. Az előadás igazi gyöngyszem. Minden mozzanata mese, gyerekek és felnőttek legnagyobb örömére. A történet alapját Hoffmann A diótörő és az egérkirály című meséje képezi. Álmok és bűbáj segítségével utazunk a Hó Birodalmába és az Édességek Királyságába. Csajkovszkij zenéje és annak minden árnyalata varázsolja elénk a mágikusan növő karácsonyfát, amely alatt a gonosz Egérkirály és az ólomkatonák vívnak egymással, majd a Cukrozott Szilva Tündér és Lovagja gyönyörűséges pas de deux-je legfantasztikusabb, máig meghaladhatatlan elemeit szövi mesébe.
Mozart was insatiably in love with life. He embraced everything considered “sinful”: wine, cards, billiards. And his passion extended to musical ornaments: flowery acciaccaturas, trills, cadences others dared not risk, and chromatic runs. But there can be no doubt the main objects of his desire were women. He dedicated several of his masterpieces to one or other of his lovers, who were thus immortalised by these concert and opera arias.
This programme is like a lavishly laid festive table set in the heart of Krakow: behind the dishes lie deep emotions, rich tradition and special musical seasonings. It kicks off with Stanisław Moniuszko’s fabulous fantasy overture, which combines a pinch of romance and a helping of fairy dust with lots of dramatic magic.
