The Welsh bass-baritone Bryn Terfel is one of the greatest opera singers of our time. Having given us several chances to hear him at Müpa Budapest before, this time he is coming as a guest of the Budapest Wagner Days festival purely to evoke extraordinary moments from the great German composer’s operas.
The music to one of the most successful films of recent years and one of the most popular television series of all time were both scored by South Korea’s Jung Jae-il.
The Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra has never been to Müpa Budapest, so the introduction of one of Asia’s most significant ensembles, one that can look back on a history of over a century, promises to be an enthralling experience.
