Leenane szürke kisváros Írország egyik eldugott zugában, a nevének jelentése: ahova a hullámok elérnek. Maureen számára azonban Leenane egy olyan hely, ahova az álmok halni járnak. A negyvenéves nő életét csak szörnyeteg anyjának gondozása tölti ki, boldogságról már ábrándozni sem mer. Egy nap visszatér a városba Pato, és úgy tűnik, Maureen számára ez a találkozás egy új esélyt jelenthet - csakhogy ott van Maureen anyja, akinek ez a viszony egyáltalán nem tetszik.
A Leenane szépe egyszerre könnyfakasztó románc, virtuóz burleszk és groteszk tragédia - ráadásul igazi színészdarab. A szerző, Martin McDonagh a kortárs dráma fenegyereke, darabjai hatalmas sikert arattak magyar színpadokon: a Vaknyugat, a Kripli, a Párnaember vagy akár a korábban Piszkavas néven is játszott Leenane szépe is.

Recirquel’s new production, Paradisum explores the myth of rebirth following the silence of a destroyed world, where the means of communication is the body, and the only common language is movement. The creatures of this idyllic existence unfold from the ever-changing, swirling natural forces of the ‘fabric of life’ that pulsates around them, so they can reach the anima mundi, the world soul, through scenes of purification, birth, awakening and ritual.
John Coltrane, who was born a hundred years ago, recorded a landmark album in 1963 with the singer Johnny Hartman.
Founded in 2015, aurevoir. has achieved one success after another, and has consistently provided their audience with explosive live experiences. On this occasion, they will be seeing out 2026 with a stellar line-up of special guests. At their year-end concert entitled Antológia (“Anthology”), the band will present a selection from their entire career to date.
