Founded in 1999, the Liszt Prize-winning, Debrecen based Talamba has been one of Hungary’s leading percussion ensembles for 27 years - and as the title of their new programme - making its debut at Müpa - suggests, they keep moving forward, and their rhythm continues unabated.
Eternally youthful even at 80, Géza Bereményi is one of the most colourful personalities on Hungary’s contemporary literary and cultural scene. A first-rate novelist and the director of now-classic films, Bereményi has also, and not least of all, proved to be a unique songwriter and lyricist with an unlimited font of inspiration and a personal stage presence that is an experience in itself.
Founded in 2015, aurevoir. has achieved one success after another, and has consistently provided their audience with explosive live experiences. On this occasion, they will be seeing out 2026 with a stellar line-up of special guests. At their year-end concert entitled Antológia (“Anthology”), the band will present a selection from their entire career to date.
