Először koncertezik Magyarországon az elmúlt húsz év egyik legsikeresebb brit énekesnője, Corinne Bailey Rae, aki már 2006-os debütáló albumával és annak világslágereivel (Like A Star, Put Your Records On) milliós eladásokat produkáló nemzetközi sztár lett.

Following the great success of their 2023 concert, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra returns to Müpa Budapest under the baton of their new music director, Martin Rajna. The thoughtfully assembled programme vividly demonstrates the manner in which this excellent ensemble is entering a new chapter in its history full of dynamism and optimism.

Attendind a performance of Messiah is always a thrilling experience, but it is especially so when Handel’s work – which has become a national classic in England – is performed by a dedicated ensemble like the legendary German flagship of the international early-music scene: the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, now with over 44 years of history behind it. The storied chamber orchestra will perform with one of the world’s finest mixed choirs, the RIAS Kammerchor, which also hails from Berlin and was founded in the years immediately following the Second World War.
