Edith Piaf hihetetlenül gazdag, gyakran tragikus és mégis felemelő életútja Orlai Produkció előadásaként érkezik a Kisfaludy Színházba. Vári Éva több, mint ötszáz alkalommal játszotta már el Edith Piafot, szinte eggyé vált már a szereppel, amit a legutóbbi évadig a Budapesti Kamaraszínházban láthatott a közönség.
„Piaf életében nagy dilemmát jelentett, hogy milyen kevesen tudnak róla, mert a nézők képzelnek valamit arról a színészről, akit látnak, hogy milyen lehet, de senki nem tudja, hogy milyen az ő kedd délelőttje, vagy hogyan kel fel, hogyan viszonyul az élethez. Úgy tűnik, hogy valamit elő tudok varázsolni ebből ennek a rendkívüli énekesnőnek a sorsából.”
