1975. november elseje és másodika közötti éjszaka van. A Mindenszenteket és Halottak napját összekötő misztikus csillagtalanság. Végzetes sötétség Ostia egyik lepusztult, elhagyott poros utcáján a repülőtér mellett. Csak egyetlen pillanat, a végső levegővétel. Amikor Pier Paolo Pasolini szembenéz gyilkosával a rámért halálos ütés előtt. Ekkor értelmet nyer mindaz, ami megelőzte ezt a pillanatot. Az élet
