Olykor nehéz elképzelni, hogy azok a kéregető, italozó, rongyokba burkolózott lények is úgy kezdték az életüket, mint mi mindahányan. Csak aztán valami történt velük, és most ők ülnek a járdán és mi megyünk el mellettük, és nem fordítva. A Rükverc egy hétköznapi ember, Vidra Zsolt életét meséli el, de ahogyan arra a cím is utal, az időben visszafelé haladva elevenednek meg élete emlékezetes eseményei, sorsfordító mozzanatai, a keserves hajléktalan évektől a felnőttkori csalódásokon, ifjúkori szerelmeken, gyerekkori tapasztalatokon át a szépreményű csecsemőkorig.

Two masterpieces of late 19th-century French sacred music make up the programme of this concert-hall celebration: Gabriel Fauré’s exquisitely beautiful Requiem and the Clovis Mass by the elderly Charles Gounod. Between the movements of the latter work, the audience will also become acquainted with four further gems from the Gallican tradition of church music, with one composition each by Alexandre Guilmant, Louis Aubert, Camille Saint-Saëns and Théodore Dubois.
