Álmos falusi birtok Oroszországban, ahol mindenki szerelmes valakibe, mert nyár van. Természetesen minden férfi a szép özvegybe. Ő meg abba az egybe, aki járt egyetemre, szellemességben verhetetlen, és még jóképű is. De a szép özvegyen kívül az összes többi női szereplő is ő utána után epekedik, a feleségével együtt legalább négyen. Mert hogy szívtiprónk nős - csak hogy minden meglegyen a már-már bohózati kalamajkához. Mindenki menekül és üldöz egyszerre, egymást érik a kínosan komikus helyzetek. De vajon a szerelem az-e, aminek látszik? A birtokot körülveszi egy misztikus, sötét, csalogató erdő, ahol mindenki keres valakit, ahol el lehet bújni, de el is lehet tévedni. Az ösztönök erdeje ez, a túlfűtött és csalóka erotikáé, ami könnyen válhat fojtogató dzsungellé. Vad méz.
