Egy kisebbrendűségi, egy alacsonyabbrendűségi érzés, esetleg sajnálat. Egyszóval olyanokat hoz magával a szó, amiket nem tartalmaz. Ez a baj. A vakság az egy állapot. Az az állapot, amikor a két szemünkkel nem látunk. Nem az, hogy lelki fogyatékos, vagy értelmi fogyatékos, vagy lelki vak.
Persze a látók sem kapják meg azt a segítséget, hogy tudják, mit jelent az, hogy valaki vak. Ahhoz, hogy egy vakkal valóban bánni tudjanak, vagy egyáltalán érintkezni vele, ahogyan az normális, ahhoz valamit meg kellene tanulniuk…”
