A Bartók Plusz Operafesztivál 2015. június 12-én nyitja meg kapuit az operarajongók, a zenét és közösségi kultúrát szerető nagyközönség előtt.A tíz napon át tartó programsorozat kiemelkedő jelentőségű előadásai között kortárs opera ősbemutatók, fesztiváldíjas operaprodukció, színháztörténeti jelentőségű Bartók-előadás, opera-bábjáték, Puccini operakülönlegesség, orgonakoncert, valamint a magyar Virtuózok egyedülálló koncertje szerepel. Az „Ezrek operája” programban Giuseppe Verdi: A trubadúr című zenedrámáját kínálja a közönségnek a fesztivál.A zene, a színház és a játék jegyében szerveződő szabadtéri kísérőrendezvények hamisítatlan fesztiváli hangulatot kínálnak a Bartók Plusz Operafesztivál 2015 idején Miskolcra látogatók számára.
